This is a new, fashion engineering, classroom-tested, educational program, written by a production patternmaker/technical designer, now college professor. Minimal equipment is needed, as the more expensive the garment, the less equipment needed to make it. Although you can use an industrial sewing machine to demonstrate the sewing exercises to your students, all work in the program can be done on a treadle sewing machine. Students do not sew in class, instead they test their knowledge at home as they do their homework on their personal sewing machines.
